MY STORY

Located in Berkeley, CA

UX Designer & Researcher

I am a self-taught UI/UX Designer, UX Researcher, and Project Manager. Out of high school, I had to work to support my family and found myself building a career at US Bank. Yearning for more, after several years, I decided to go to college. During this pursuit, I tried my luck at several startups of my own. While I did not strike gold, I developed a meticulous niche in design and research.

To pay for college, I worked with professionals, small business and organizations on a large variety of projects. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Economics & Policy and a Bachelors of Arts in Near Eastern Studies. My background in social sciences enabled me to objectively understand user tribes, use-cases, and user-roles to carry out qualitative and quantitative user-centered research studies. With my background in design, I am able to contextualize my findings and develop scalable user interfaces and experiences.

Above all else, my greatest passion in life is learning.
